Im getting married in may and these are things I want to promise to him:

-to be faithful to him always

-to support him in all future endeavors

-to always be there for him if he needs me, wether it be listening to him, talking to him or whatever

Things will happen during the relationship, good and bad. If you feel like you can tell each other everything, it will prevent infidelities, etc. If you can talk about urges, feelings, mistakes, regrets openly without fear of ruining the relationship, that is a great relationship.

3 - always have special times for eachother

What I expect from my husband..(and what I will give him)

Is for him to always put my feelings into consideration before making big decisions. (i will do the same from him). To do what he thinks is best for the family and for him to talk with me about what he wants to do and what he thinks we should do.

To be honest, even if he knows I won't like what I will hear. To be faithful. To be selfless. To be good to our children. To love me with his whole heart and mind.

Always honor the thoughts and feelings of the other.

Always cherish the other and never take the for granted.

Always put them ahead of yourself.

I think the only promise you can actually keep is this:

Try to work through issues, try to love each other like you deserve to be loved, try to provide, try to listen, try to be honest, try to work hard, try to own your mistakes and try to remember each day is a gift.
