I'm sitting here listening to the late Vladimir Horowitz play Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto, and it just doesn't get much better for me. What do YOU like?
Update:Pulling weeds is spiritual too, if you think about it... You're working to grow something, after all :-)
Update 3:Hmm... haven't heard Previn do #2, but I'm always in the market for a good recording!

I took a walk down to the local pond early in the morning when there's very few people about. It has been extremely hot recently, in the stifling kind of way where it feels like there's no air, but at this time it was still cloudy and cool. The birds were singing, and I couldn't even hear any cars, which is a rare thing where I live.
Anyway, I was walking along the edge of this pond, watching the ducks. Some of them were still sleeping in that strange way ducks have of tucking their heads back over their bodies. It looks awkward, but they obviously don't mind :)
I reached a bench and sat there, just watching. It was so peaceful. And then I saw the heron. I hadn't seen it for a long time - there's only one that lives here, and it's usually up at the other pond (we have two very close to each other) anyway. But here it was, perching on the sign jutting out of the water that says "No Fishing" on it, with its long neck craned forward, looking for fish.
It was practically silent, and I experienced a moment of pure happiness. I'll probably go down there again this evening. So I guess the most spiritual thing I've heard was nothing. How often is it truly quiet?
That's it really. Nice question! I love Rachmaninoff too!
Peace and blessings :)
Edit: By coincidence - just now Rachmaninoff's Prelude in B Minor came on my shuffle ipod. A beautiful piece of music.
I think Rachmaninov (played by Andre Previn) Piano Concerto NO. 2 in C minor is the best ever on the Piano.
Mozart's Mass in C minor (speaking of C minors) is the best vocal work he did for Spiritual Inspiration.
Still the Best one of all is Mozart's "Night Music"
Something about bearing burdens seems to be a running theme for me the past couple days...I'm not very spiritual my dear. I was freaking out about the announcement at the end of Bleach episode 226 that they are breaking for a stupid arc...and Ichigo has only just started fighting Ulquiorra!
My life sucks. *goes to pull more weeds in the garden of weedin.*

=) you are simply a very kind person.
Rubinstein's version of Chopin's Nocturne Op.9 no.1 in B flat Minor does it quite nicely for me.
I heard four three year old children make up a song about playing in the sandbox. The improvisational skills these kids had was impressive. I just had to stop and listen.
The Shiny Toy Guns cover of Peter Shillings "Major Tom (Coming Home)"
Don't know why, it's just good, very chilling song, sends shivers down my spine.
Lady Gaga - Love Game
I'm actually listening to Andante Cantabile by Mozart. It's pretty soothing.
I've found that you can put "Spiritually Speaking" in front of any sentence and it will attract the gullible.
Hmmm! What kind of product line could we put that on?
Probably "We got five minutes for us to disconnect, from all intellect collect the rhythm effect..."
Black Eyed Peas :)
