This will be a long question but I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. I turned 17, two days ago and I took the ASVAB yesterday... I got a 73 on it (afqt) and a GT score of 117. I'm doing the Army Reserves while I'm at college. I have one year left of high school, I've always had a huge interest and passion for the Army so on and so forth.. But I do have a creative, inventive side and want to do something with that. I watched a documentary on a German who developed armored cars and sold them to private security contractors in the middle east, and it really inspired me. And he didn't just sit behind a desk, he went out to Iraq, Syria etc. The thing is I was going to be an Arabic Translator and major in Arabic but I'm not sure now. I think it would be cool as hell to design weapon systems and sell them, in civilian life my dream job would to own a gun store and design guns and be a gun smith. Like the main guy on "Sons of Guns" The bottom line is, I'm confused about what career path I should take and this is where I stand: I have a gpa of 3.0. (I messed around my freshman and sophomore year) I have my senior year left and I'm sure I can get my gpa up a lil bit. I'll be in the Army reserves and going to college. I love creating things and I love the military and all that kinda stuff. So I'd like to put those two together, and see what I could do. Any suggestions? If you have something rude to say, please find another question to say that to, I really need some help on this and I'd REALLY appreciate this. Thank you guys so much.
Update:Creating weapons for the army is not what i meant, I meant what job should i do AFTER the Army, I've been researching the army and everything about it since I was little, I know you are not in charge of what you want to do.

it will be near impossible to join the army and create weapons for them. when you join, they will tell you what you do and so on. a common misconseption is that you will join, and get to do what YOU WANT to do. not the case. sorry. i'd say if all you want to do is creat guns and such or create things of that magnitude, dont join the service. unless you plan on staying in, making rank and hopefully one day you can do that. im in the Navy and im not saying this to hurt you or anything jus speaking the truth from what i've seen. also, probably a better option for you would to go to college and join as an Officer. that is if you are attracted to makin money. lol goodluck
