Never been toColáiste Cholumba but I've been to the Gaeltacht and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The accommodation is adequate, it ain't the Ritz but honestly you don't go for the quality of the rooms! Our "Bean an Tí" was a great cook, so the food is fine. It's not that they're strict but they'd encourage you to try your best to speak Irish. As for the area, at times I felt like I was stepping ack in time! So rural, so picturesque, it's brilliant! Hope this helps!
