My eye doctor said this is the right prescription. Right now I have drug store readers, but will be getting custom prescription bifocals soon.

The real thing will be clearer. Drugstore glasses certainly don't have quality lenses in them.
If you are talking about foggy when you look up, then that is normal, they are only for close up viewing.
