Quincañera questions!?
I have a lot of questions and I'd like if someone can answer all of them....
1) Do I need to have my first communion to have a quincanera? By the way I'm catholic if has to do with anything...
2) Do damas and chambelanes need to have their first communion too?
3) Do all quincaneras have to have a religious ceremony at church?
4) What happends at the church ceremony? (please be specific)
Well these are all the questions I have I know I sound really ignorant but I've never been to a quincanera... BTW Tahnks to whoever answers this:)

Hi , maybe this will answer your questions (:
1 ) im catholic aswell and you do have to have your first communion done in order to have your quinceñera
2)No damas and chambepanes don't have to have their first communion done .
3) I haven't heard off any quinceñeras that hasn't had of ceremony , my mother has told me that having the ceremony is a main thing about having a quinceñera (:
4) I can't really describe this , but you sit in church and wait for the precher to finish and then you walk up with your parents and they'll read you something & they'll have your padrinos for the necklace and ring to come up and put them on you and after all that is done if you haven't already you confess yourself .
