K so I'm 13 & never have had chickenpox before. Last week I felt nausea and feverish, but didnt have a fever, then it went away. Yesterday I felt the exact same but it went away again. I woke up this morning with nausea once again and I started to itch my face. Then, a large rash broke out on my face. Before I knew it, I was itching EVERYWHERE!!! There are sections of my body that have rashes, not everywhere I'd say 40%. They're not big bumps, just rashes. It feels like my skin is crawling. Right now, I feel like puking!! So is it chicken pox? And if it isn't that, what could it be??

It doesn't sound like chicken pox to me. In my experience chicken pox is when a rash of red spots turn into liquid filled blisters so if there not like that yet pray its not chicken pox. After this they scab over and eventually drop off within 1 to 2 weeks. If it is chicken pox be prepared to feel miserable and irritable. In way of treatment paracetamol and ibuprofen to relieve fever and calamine lotion and cooling gels to ease itching. What my mum did was coat us from head to toe with cooling gels (sorry cant remember which one) putting everywhere and i mean everywhere. Calamine lotion is all right but it makes the itching worse because it dries the spots up. Try putting a heaped table spoon of baking soda (Or a 250ml Cup) in the bath and i know this sounds weird but it worked with both my brothers 2 cups of ground oatmeal (maybe home-ground oatmeal or Aveeno Oatmeal Bath). Good luck if it gets worse go see your GP .
