Just happened to be looking up Clovis points, and came across this.

and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleoclimatology#Clim... take a look, still think we’re going to die?

Yet more peer reviewed data that shows the climate has been changing for millions of years and subject to millions of variables we don't understand so we shouldn't mess with nature or the atmosphere as it will only lead to disaster. We should leave the CO2 alone as we can only vaguely guess why it is increasing and what effect if any messing with it may have!
There are massive benefits to global warming that far outweigh the disadvantages:
• Increased agricultural productivity & land (more rain, warmth & Co2)
• Longer growing seasons for all plant life
• Greening of some of the Earth's vast frozen land masses (Canada, Russia, China)
• Increased Co2 absorption rate
• Added habitat for wildlife
• More bountiful food for animal life
• Less food/energy requirements for animal life
• Less net global energy requirement for humans
• Less deforestation for heating fuel
• Less cold related severe weather and death
MOST IMPORTANTLY: if we are very lucky and warm enough, we may even avert the next ice age: Ice ages are not controversial ideas like global warming, they are real and acknowledged by all scientists regardless of political affiliation. They occur like clockwork, they appear very rapidly, within a few human generations, and wipe out most animal and plant life on the planet.
where I live in the central U.S. a 110F ( 44c)temperature variation between peak summer temps. & minimum winter temps is average weather & 130f ( 55c) variation in any one year is not unusual.
so I seriously doubt anyone would even notice the 5 or 6 degree change over a long lifetime that the alarmists are trying to get everyone all worked up over.
that's actually just about the difference in average temperature between New York city & Chicago.

the fact that people are even talking about it is a tribute to how effective the media propaganda machine has become.
if it warms or cools little, just deal with it & go on about your business, the way people have always done.
I think it is highly unlikely. This year we had one of the coolest summers on record here in the Midwest. All this global warming and climate change stuff is just hogwash! The increases/decreases in temperature are just due to changes in the weather cycle.
First of all it is due to!
Second, I don't, mainly because this sort of thing has happened before. I do believe we are helping to make it worse, but the same thing is going on other planets. Did we do that to? I think not. Americans need to be more conscious, but we didn't start it.
Cook? No. The biggest threat is a reduction in the fresh water supply and arable land, followed by rising sea levels.
No... As others have said, it will be devastating to our agriculture. We won't fry.
I find it funny that the denier movement seems to be shifting from denial that it's warming, to it's cooling, to it's warming naturally, to AGW is a good thing.

Global warming got us out of the last ice age. It will get us out of the next one.
No, AGW will not "cook" us. Growing enough food crops worldwide will become more difficult. We could starve to death.
ive never thought global warming was real. nor did i ever think that 2012 crap was real.
so, i dont think we're gonna die
