My baby is 11 months in a week and she stands alone…?
My baby is almost 11 months and she will stand alone for couple minutes, but not walk, she will walk around everywhere holding on to something. She crawls, and is able to get into sitting position right after. When sitting she is able to get up half way. (She is on her knee with one foot on the floor and one knee on the floor) she stands up when holing on to something. Once in a while she will take 1 or 2 steps and that’s it. (When standing she can get into sitting position) How long do you think before she will start walking? How was your baby? I know they are all different but I’m just curious!!

Sounds like she's curious but not quite ready yet. Don't worry about it so much. She will take off walking when she's ready. Just make sure you have good fitting shoes on her feet or it will take her a whole lot longer. Remember, infants have really soft bones and it takes time for the bones to become strong enough to handle walking. I see so many parents 'pushing' their infants into walking early (6-10 months) and those kids end up with bowed legs.
My son never even crawled, he scooted around on his bot until he was a little over 15 months old, then he suddenly pulled himself up by a chair turned around and walked (not toddled - walked) with total confidence, the length of my 18 foot lounge. He then sat down with a thump and looked around as if to ask how he had got to the other end of the room.
But from that moment on he walked everywhere all the time, he screamed blue murder if you tried putting him in his pushchair and would keep walking even when exhausted if we were out refusing to even be carried.
Its good thing that she stands alone but never worry about it .. 'll be ok in some few days only get a Check up from Doctor and give her to some extra calcium things and solid things ...
in soon child will be shown more effective activities...
My babby is 10 months old, and goes on a 2 mile babby run every morning. My babby was walking at 8 months. I think your babby will walk soon, but buying her expensive shoes from an exclusive designer will most likely motivate her to try even harder!
She is building the muscles up it sounds like. She could be walking anytime soon now.
