I agree , its better if you get a degree in the USA first . Because if you get a degree in Mexico and come here a few years later for what ever reason and try to pursue your career here they won't make they won't make the Mexican degree valid -_- don't know exactly why but I can imagine :)
However if you still plan on moving there are several things you need to be aware off.
1. It's cheaper to live over there lol
2. Living in Mexico is such a beautiful experience because ... Well you'll see your self lol it can't be explained .
3. Make sure u have a house or an apartment to go staright to , because even though people there are welcoming and they accept you in their homes its better to b on ur own.
4. Keep under the radar specially in Mexico city ! don't go letting people know ur from the USA. Just a form of kidnap prevention (not that it will automatically happen , but take this from a USA citizen who lives in Mexico )
5. You will need this form of identification called the CURP if your planning to go to school and getting a phone . the Curp works like a social security and you will nees it to vote and etc. You won't be able ti have one since u were born here. What you should do emedietly after toy get to Mexico is go get an ACTA APOSTILLADA (I don't know what it us Called in Spanish ) but its like a second birth certificate that gives you double citizenship you know will also have a Mexican citizenship, you would have to pay 100 dollars I think but it isn't bad , because once you get ur Mexican birth certificate you'll be able to get ur CURP so u can study !
6. :) living in Mexico is a beautiful experience way different from living in the USA I promise you it will b the beat years in ur life ! Best of luck ! Any questions please feel free to contact me ! :)
Going To School In Mexico
Mexico City (Ciudad de México) is the capital of Mexico and an unbelievable city surrounded by grand hill ranges. To see that city you can select the best option hotelbye . The city's site is definitely breathtaking. Two spectacular snow-covered volcanoes, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, tower above it making use of their more of 5,000 meters. Mexico City also keeps countless reminders of its past and those are things that attract the tourists. The whipping center of Mexico City is Zócalo - the Plaza de la Constitución (Constitution Square) - where the country's first structure was proclaimed in 1813 and now is one of the very visited place of Mexico City because it's among the world's greatest squares. In Mexico City you may also visit: the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Templo Mayor.
With out your FM2 card you will only be able to stay for 6 months on your tourist visa then return home to the states and return back on another 6 month tourist visa.
Forget getting any work in Mexico - not gonna happen !
Why you would jeopardize your education for some chica is beyond me .
Stay home and get a decent education Sparky ........
