Sadly, yes. Although people have a full, easy to use keyboard in front of them, they still find the need to textspeak. They may have fallen asleep in (or skipped) English AND Keyboarding. I understand simple spelling errors, but it can be PAINFUL to read many of the messages, texts, etc.
my sister and her friends do it all the time. it is so annoying. when she texts me i don't know what she is saying. how much harder is it to spell what properly instead of wat. i can't stand it.
