Japanese language question: なっちまったんだ?

な、何で、こんなことになっちまったんだ! What im confused about is this verb nachimatta what is this? what is the dictionary form of it?

なっちまう is a casual form of なってしまう, which means "turn out to be ... "

The whole sentence means "W..why it turned out to be like this!"
