Look out for oil sludge. You can't really see it so look for evidence of regular oil changes. The problem seemed to be solved in the next generation 9-3, which came out in the 2003 model year (2004 for cabriolets).
If I had to buy a 10 year old car because I didn't have enough money for a new car, I wouldn't buy a convertible. However, that's just me. I would save money and buy a saloon.
I once bought a 12 year old used car but had a mechanic inspect it first.
Saab is a GM automobile, Volvo is a Ford-based experience. (If that enables you're making your determination??) i might choose for the Volvo in cream, however the Saab is compelled induction 2.0, good? yet with the Volvo you get an determination of extreme or low rigidity rapid. extra powerful suspension, and extra HP make me chosen the Volvo
