I happened to find a 3 month internship in Berlin and it says that the monthly salary is 1100€ (includes health care coverage) so I was wondering if that would be enough to live comfortably for those 3 months?

You have to consider:
400 € for rent (minimum)
100 € for public transportation
1 Bic Mac is around 4 €, a meal in an restaurant starts with 10 € open end.
So 1000 € a month is really not much!
That should suffice if the rent you're paying for your flat is not etremely overpriced. Some people in Germany earn way less than a thousand and have to get along with it, so it's good payment for an internship.
In Berlin you will just about SCRAPE-BY with a 1000 EUROs a month.
Other areas of the country that would be OK, but a capital city is a capital city and EVERYTHING is more expensive in them.
> Is 1000€ a month enough to ive comfortably ▬ No!
It is just about 150€ above the rate which is considered to be the minimum to survive and which is paid as monthly social benefits to long-term unemployed by the German government [€399 plus the costs of housing and utilities].
Of course not.
It depends where you live.
Hostel only - rent is the killer
i think more is needed
