Interesting question this - how else could you answer it without saying something like: "I'd put it in my wallet", "I'd save it for a rainy day" or "I'd put it in the bank"?
Say thanks? No, no.... What would YOU do?

It depends on how i was feeling.
If i was feeling generous, i'd give it to a homeless person or something of that sort.
sad - buy something for myself to cheer my up
angry - foolishly spend it on something i don't need.
happy- keep it until i needed it for something else
5 pounds isn't a lot, but it's more than nothing
wow, my first (and probably only) UK bank note!
that's going in my homeAcct vault. that way I can keep it in there forever and safe.
isn't not going in my wallet, I have about 1500 USD worth of gold and silver coins saved for one hell of a rainy day (when the rain is actually nukes), and its noting in the bank because then I would lose my 5£ note.
the homeacct is what you may call "money under the mattress". started when I was 6, it was literally money under the mattress back then. now its in a very secure safe at home. its not a bank account and any money in there the government (IRS) doesn't know about it as it officially doesn't exist.
so what do I do with the £5 note? it disappears. officially I never received it, and I never saved it.
I would use to buy a mc Donald's big mac meal will fries and a coke oh lets not forget the ice cream we cant forget that. That leaves some change for a rainy day. am I good or not ? best wishes maureen.
I guess I would be stunned, say thank you, and then probably use it to buy lunch or something.
well... it's just five pounds, I'd buy a chocolate bar or something.
Donate it
