There are A lot of people who want to fight me. Im going to be a freshman. I really don't believe in violence but I will defend myself. I've been practicing punching a hard chair cushion. If I practice about 5 days a week for a month will my punches be harder and faster?

Your punching will get better but you need to build up arm strength . try lifting weights and try getting your hands faster. Punching is not all you need to win a fight. You need to have speed, strength and pride.
