i was on incapasity benefit 10 years ago now dwp tell me i owe £688 . they are taking £4 a week from my esa?
i had to go back on benefit in march . i have asked them what the overpayment is for but they refuse to tell me . is this right that they take money from me and not tell me why?
I think that you need to write to your MP on this one so that the matter can be investigated. DWP pay lip service to transparency and should explain to you precisely why they have taken this decision. If you aren't even allowed to know why, you are not able to appeal against it. http://www.dwp.gov.uk/contact-us/complaints-and-ap...
Surely you are entitled to an explanation. If they refuse to answer your questions ask them for the phone number of someone higher up than them who can. If it comes to it, contact Citizens Advice.

to get it back get a girl pregnant and move in with her and ull get more money
Appeal against it..They don't pay out lightly so i would suggest it's because they made a mistake................
