Does £323 add up to £1400 per month net? I've been offered a job at £1400 net per month which they will pay me weekly at £323 net. This doesn't seem to add up to £1400 per month or am I being stupid?

4 x 343 = 1292
There are going to be rough days here and there in some months that don't fall neatly into the 4 weeks per month.
4 x 12 = 48 but there are 52 weeks in a year.
I don't know what your expected salary is over what months, so I can't do the math for you but if we average it out,
That's an extra 4 weeks a year outside your monthly calculations.
Averaged out of 12 months, that's another 107.66 per month on average accounting for those 4 "missing" weeks.
1292+107.66 = 1399.66/month during a year, which comes pretty close to your expected 1400 pounds per month, and that small deviation is due to this being a rough calculation using an average per month figure.
Some companies still state their salaries over a "28 day (4 weekly) lunar month" so yes it is correct. As stated by AJ... "1400/month. Multiple that by 12 to get your annual pay, then divide that by 52. the answer is 323.07 per week .". I worked for an Employer a couple of years ago that paid me every 28 days, it was easier for them.
£1400 a month * 12 months= £16,800 a year
£323 a week * 52 week = £16,796 a years.
This does not ADD uo -- it multiplies up.
1400 divided by 4 is 350, you are short 27
Try this. 1400/month. Multiple that by 12 to get your annual pay, then divide that by 52. the answer is 323.07 per week.
Firstly there are more than four weeks to a month.
Secondly no employer can possibly tell you what your net pay will be because they do not know your tax code yet.
This is extremely strange - scam alert!
Yess it adds up. What are you doing, multiplying be 4 weeks? there's more days than that in a month
are you taking into account only one month has 28/29 days the other have 30 and 31 . perhaps they are saying a month is 28 days.
