How would I simplify this equation please (if possible) show full working - not to get the answer but to see how I would simplify a similar equation as it part of my revision for a test tomorrow.
Another way of writing √y is y^(1/2)
y^4 * y^(1/2) is y^(9/2)....this could be your answer...
Or you could just write this y^4√y .... that is y^4 times √y without the x sign.
