I just graduated college and am applying for laboratory jobs. I have been doing research funded by my state for the last 2 years and was wondering what to put on my resumé for that. Do I include the abstract from the paper? Also, I have presented my research at 12 conferences over the last couple of years. Do I include all the conferences? I'm not sure what to include because I don't want it to be too lengthy. Thanks!

Hi,
I work with students quite a bit entering the workforce and in developing their resume I do get similar questions.
1st - your resume should not be over 2 pages long. I'm not sure how long your abstract is, but it is key to not go over that length.
2nd - in creating similar resumes we create a section similar to a work history section. List each project you were doing research with 1 - 2 bullet points under it of the key things you did
3rd - Presented research papers is a very good achievement! Definitely put that on your resume, Create a section that has Conference Presentations and list under what the presentation was titled and the conference where it was given - it should be 1 line for each presentation.
Hopefully this helps and good luck!
