How to graph √x? (pre-calculus)?
I'm using a graphing calculator, but it keeps saying that there is a syntax error. I graphed x^2 without any problems, though.
Update:Alright..I think i might've gotten it..if anyone has any idea without calculating it..should it look like an infinite line starting from the origin? (i forgot to add that it was √x, x>or equal to 0)

what kind of calculator? the ti-84 will automatically assume a right parenthesis, but the 92 and others might not. make sure you've made y1 = √(x)
