It might help if you were clearer in your question... is this three separate sayings, or one?
Separately, they mean:
Abandoning the norm: do something different, unexpected, be unique. Everyone else is doing A, B, and C - why don't you try doing H, M and W?
Handling the harvest: Do your job, work hard, do what is expected. You have been given tasks and people expect and depend on you to do what you were told - so do it.
Measuring the worth by the depth of the hardship: Value is based on how hard you worked on the project. If it was easy, it was cheap - if you worked hard for a long time, it is worth much more.
