idk how to di it please explain
y=-5x — 1
y= 1/3x — r
x=1
5x + 2y=6
y= 1/4x +1
y= -x +2
2x + 3y =9
y=-x—1
— = subtract
- = negative
the slope is just the coeffecient of x.
so the slopes are
-5
1/3
und
1/4
-1
2x + 3y = 9
3y = -2x + 9
y = -2/3x + 3
( slope = -2/3 )
you take the number next to the x and if it is positive x the slope is one and same for negative x it is negative 1
so
undefined
-5/2
-2/3
the equation of a line is y = mx + b
where m = slope
so just take the coefficient of x and u'll get the slop
ex. y = -5x -- 1
y = mx + b
so m(slope) = -5
look at the number that being multiplied by the x. that is the slope. for example the first question is -5 for the slope.
