How long have you had your red ear sliders…..?

How long have you had your red ear sliders? I have read they can stay alive with proper care up to 15 years.

I've only had mine for around 2 months but he's already 3 years old. With proper care they can live MUCH longer then 15 years some RES even live up to 50 years.

You will need to buy larger tanks for them as they grow bigger...If you don't do this, they will stop growing and die very soon...

If cared for properly, and allowed to grow, they will live for much longer.

However, if you keep it in a small tank, it will only live a few months.
