Add protein to your diet! Have a GNC Lean Shake for breakfast and if you can, one for lunch, and eat healthy snacks in between, then have a normal dinner. Try to get 30min of exercise 3-4 times a week. The protein will help you lose weight and it's geared for women so no you won't end up looking like a man. I did it and it helped me lose some unwanted pounds! It took me a while to get used to the taste of all protein shakes but now I love them, I get chocolate and blend it with peanut butter! Good luck!
Whoever thumbs downed me is an idiot and must have no idea how protein works. You said you have a busy schedule so you might not have time to eat right so a protein shake that can be used as a healthy meal replacement is a great option. I'm so glad I was introduced to them.

Eat a moderate diet and choose healthy choices everywhere, but eat at home as much as possible preparing your own meals.
30 min of cardio a day will also help.
You don't "diet"...you make a lifestyle change that you can stick with...do some research on "clean eating" and try to turn your eating habits in that direction...on top of that, schedule a workout for yourself at least 5 days a week...
