I’m a freshmen in highschool. I take all honors, run cross country, play soccer, and club basketball. I love art and I’m planning to take it all throughout out high school. Right now, I have mostly B’s and B+’s in all my class (I have an A in spanish, gym and art though) I really, really want to do well in life. I feel if I don’t take all honors, get A’s and do well on each test, I’ll just end up average. (I know that’s not true, but that’s how I think) I hate being average. I don’t want to settle for a boring “okay” life. I need to see things, have stories to tell, meet new people, and experience everything. What can I do to accomplish that? How can I make sure I’m doing the right things to get a successful life? What should I do if things get out of hand, and I set too high of expectations for myself?

Download the prose poem, "Desiderata" by Max Ehrman, read it and read it often. It means "desired things". If you follow the suggested ways it gives, you probably will have a successful life.
Good luck!
Take honors classes
it looks good for colleges
AP classes are good too
a B in an honors or AP class means more then an A in a regular class
As for accomplishing meeting people and experiencing things..
well you're already in sports and you make friends through activities like that
stick with atleast one of those all throughout highschool
i'm going to be honest with you but i think you already know this
college is where you experience more things
because you can go out of country and study abroad
you can see and experience different cultures that way
and meet people
...i don't think things will get out of hand i mean you know your own limits
and i dont think you should have to worry about setting your expectations too high
if you want to do something go for it
but follow it through
dont get to the point where you're only half into what you're doing
high school is soposed to be fun :)
enjoy it
don't take on too much to the point where you're stressed out all the time
challenge yourself but don't kill yourself in obligations
