B' refers to the elements which are in U but not in B.
So B' = {a, i, t}
Similarly, A' = {a, e}
C ∩ B' would be the elements which are common to both C and B'.
So C ∩ B' = {a, i, t}
Next, (C ∩ B') U A' would mean the elements which are in (C ∩ B') plus the elements in A'.
So (C ∩ B') U A' would be {a, i, t, e}
