Have you ever felt like everything you do turns out all wrong? You have the most unselfish and true intentions, yet when it comes down to it that's not how it comes off.
It's really so upsetting. I want to do my best and right but somehow I keep making a bigger mess.
What's your story? And what did you do to get out of that rut of self pity and worthlessness?

I try to trust my gut. What else can you go buy sometimes?
I do feel that way. I have that feeling often that everything I touch turns to... well, you know...
I think the best thing to do is not to let it get the better of you. Don't dwell on it. I know it's really difficult when it seems like no matter what good you try to do, it's misconstrued or stopped short by some idiotic misfortune, but you can't just give up. I believe that eventually we'll all overcome things like this. I'll spare you any sort of sermon here, cos I don't think that's what you're after. I do hope things improve for you, tho.
Yup.
Pull up your boot straps and keep on going. Also, stop being so unselfish and look out for yourself more in this life, you'll feel less taken advantage of.
That which I would do, I do not. That which I would not do, I do. You are not alone. You must remember that if you are friends with the world, you are at enmity with God. You will shine as a believer, even if you do not say you are. The world hated Jesus Christ, and it will hate you as well.
But you can overcome with love. Love is the ultimate sandpaper. It will wear down even the hardest of hearts. Make love your hobby, and seek a thousand ways to do it, even at awkward times. And there you will find God. God is love.
The problem is that SELF pity, by definition, is a focus on yourself.
Look to others to see their problems, and look for ways you can help them. The more you help them, the more you help yourself.

Yes, I've been down in the dumps and once you get there that's how it will be until you get back up and make some precious time worth while. Feeling worthless is the worst way to look at yourself. Often turn the corners and work on something else that you know well and give yourself some satisfaction. Go clean the toilets and just do anything will help take away that pity and worthless feeling. Thank God, we have a new day coming.
Ho ho, yes indeed! I'm the undisputed king of screw-ups! I've learned to confine my efforts to the few things I know about - health issues and American history - and let the rest fend for themselves! I can tell you all about battlefield medicine during our Civil War, but don't ask me to drive a nail or paint the house!
No, sorry.
I have great parents who cared. And was blessed with reasonable logic, and could rather see any train wreck coming.
Thank you mom. All I am, I owe to you.
No, never.
Maybe your just trying way too hard to please.
