I cannot for the life of me find the derivative of this exponential function. Please help! Much appreciated.
Its is a bit ambiguous how you typed it. Is the e^x a part of the power? i.e. Should it be written:
x^(2e^x) - exe^x + 2e^x
or is it
(x^2)e^x - exe^x + 2e^x
If you meant the first one, then the derivative is:
2e^(2e^x)x^(2e^x) - 2xe^x
If you meant the second one, then the derivative is:
(x^2)e^x
You just have to know the product rule. If you meant the first equation, then you need the chain rule and the product rule.
Hope I helped!
