Ever heard of the "glass ceiling"? If not, good. It existed. I hope you also never heard things like "I think we should pay women less to do the same job as men because men support a family and women don't." (Apparently these people had never heard of divorce or death.) And my mother's favourite: "If I told you that you had a lovely body, would you hold it against me?" Things like this were popular even 30 years ago and extremely common even 50 years ago. So yes, women need to be part of "Affirmative Action". However, if such programs still exist 100 years from now, THEN you can complain. Oh wait, you'll be dead. So be sure to tell your grandchildren to kvetch about it.
