Do you think Tomáš Berdych can pull this off?
Seems like he's playing really well, plus he has success vs Murray. I never really used to like him, but I hope he can win in NY. It's probably unlikely with Nole in his form,
but it would be a great story.. Hope he wins.
It be nice if Ferrer won too, just probably impossibble to come back from a 5th set tb and beat Novak.

I think he has a 50% chance with Murray, if he can keep up his level vs Federer. I'll be cheering him on for sure. I believe that whoever wins the match will lose in final tho :)

Well let's see. He has a big time winning record against Murray, the surface gives him another big time advantage. He's the one of the two in much better form.
I would think despite what the announcers are saying he's the favorite.
PLus he's the only man in recent grand slam history to beat both Federer and Djokovic so he can win the big one.
I'm rooting for him mostly because of the way the media has hyped Murray into a huge favorite with only Crissy pointing to the obvious truth of the situation. This is the most overhyping I've seen for anyone besides well I won't name names.
But whoever wins this match has to be a big time underdog to Novak Djokovic. How many hard court grand slams has he won in a row 3 or 4??!!?
It's hard for Berdych to make a story like Del Potro did in 2009. Berdych has a game and tactical to beat Murray. If Berdych plays at his best, I think he can beat Murray in 4 sets.
If Ferrer gets into final, i think it will be an interesting match to watch. If Djokovic gets into final, it will be hard for Berdych to take the title. You can see that Djokovic's probably playing very well now. I'm hoping for the final between Djokovic and Murray
Berdych will not win the US Open unless the miracle happens that both Murray and Nole lose in the semis. Djokovic would beat him like a drum in the final, but regardless I just think it is finally time for Murray to shine.
Berdych actually has a 4-2 H2H advantage over Murray (2-1 on hardcourts). He should not be underestimated.
What a run for him for sure though... Novak is just too good right now I love David but he won't beat Novak...Novak loves berdychs game a lot...personally NADAL baby!!! Sadly didn't get to play but all good he will come back strong!
Unfortunately Djokovic will win, because the only two players capable of beating Djokovic in a grand slam currently are Federer and Nadal and they are gone.
Yeah, wish Berdych the best of luck, but I want Murray to win, he can pull this one, I hope he will, he's never my fave, but I love him anyway! :D
