Do you think it’s embarrassing to go to my doctors appointments by myself?
I’m 5 months pregnant and the father of my baby isn’t around so when I have doctors appointments I go by myself each time. I’m 22. Do you think it’s embarrassing?
When I was pregnant, my husband didn't want to attend my appointments because he said he didn't want to use his personal leave just for that. I was upset but I had to go to the appointments to make sure me and my baby inside were ok. Don't feel embarrassed sweetie, as long as you go see your doctor to make sure you and your baby are healthy. :)
No, I don't think that's embarrassing at all. My mom went to all of hers by herself (except for the gender reveal one) because my dad couldn't get off work, and I've known plenty of other women who were in the same boat.
No not at all. IF the OB/GYN appts, pre-natal, are all he misses - count yourself darn lucky. So many women have absentee fathers for everything right after conception. Even that is not embarrassing: it's painfully sad, but not embarrassing.
I never expected my husband to attend my ante-natal appointments, nor did he. He saw it as his duty to work to provide for his family. In those days, you did not see many men at ante-natal clinics.
Why would it be embarrassing? I'm married and went to all of my doctor's appointments by myself. My husband was working, so he couldn't come. I'm a big girl and could go to see my ob/gyn by myself.

Not at all.
My first I was unmarried and he didn't go to any appointments. My second, I was married and he didn't go to any appointments. I was not embarrassed.
Of course not. Medical professionals have encountered every scenario in the book and nothing suprises them.
