I'm stressing out because last year my dad did my taxes for me without my kowledge and never truly explained to me how exactly it works. I am a dependent living with my mom and I did a couple of college classes. I worked full time for like six months out of the year. I have Basicly no savings and I'm really scared that I'm going to pay a lot of money that I don't have. My mother hasn't told me anything either and keeps saying you'll find out what happens when it happens. HELP!

The only way you'd owe taxes if if your job wasn't deducting the proper amount of withholding from your salary. If you're going to be working enough in the future to have to file a tax return it's probably worth going to an H&R Block or something just to make sure your returns are properly filed.
i would go to a tax place and have them help you
So use the Internet. It's all on there.
Nobody ever taught me how to do my taxes. In fact my parents never did their taxes back then. Their loss; it turned out later that they would actually have gotten money back, and by then it was too late to file for all those years.
So get online. I don't doubt for a second that the IRS (or whatever tax agency wherever you live) has pages upon pages explaining what you need to know.
Your parents don't seem very nice. You need to grow up fast and learn how to do this stuff your self before they screw you any worse.
It's very unlikely that you earned enough to have to pay taxes. I think the minimum for paying taxes now is more than $20,000. If they took taxes out of your paycheck when you're working, you're more like to get a refund. There's a simple form- the 1040a. You can download it. You'll get a statement in the mail from your employer. You just put the numbers on it into the form, and see what it says.
