My Grande Jetès are not as great as they could be. I know they take practice, I'm willing to put forth that effort!:) but.. I'd greatly appreciate any bit of advice on how to better my grand jete, I'd love to be able to do a 180 degree one easy. . If you've learned tricks(maybe jumps to strengthen: over splits etc), exercises, certain technique or stretches in your dancing that helped you get these, I'd really appreciate the help!

Practice an over split and work on getting strong legs and stretch extera when you know your going to be doing grand jetes also if your randomly walking just practice them and that helps you get better at them
Splits and over splits. Start with a book and then when you reach the ground go to higher level. Also practice jumps like jumps in first, second, and change of fifth. Also practice your plié by doing 200 plié relaves a day and stretching your calves. Lastly make sure when your doing grand jetés pull up.
Ps: before you stretch do a 10 or more minute warm up. If you don't warm up you can injure yourself
Well, I'd stretch my right splits and my left splits in order to achieve the full splits, then I would also practice kicking my back leg high and equal with my front leg.
