If Real Madrid won't give him the improved contract he'll probably move to PSG or Anzhi Makhachkala and get his pay rise.
Thoughts.
Update:@Abzman,
Grow up. I asked for your thoughts on this potential transfer. It has nothing to do with Messi, why are you bringing Messi up? And yes, I think most football fans (that actually are knowledgeable) would agree, Ronaldo is worth around €90m. He isn't 24 anymore. He's 27. Yes, he's improved, but he is not anywhere close to being worth €200m. Yes, he can be marketed to generate lots of income, but so could Neymar, and he would cost nowhere near €200m, is only 20, and is a top class player. You are clearly over-valuating Ronaldo. Why wouldn't you over-valuate the main reason why you support your team. That and Mourinho. When they leave, order your Man City shirt.
Update 3:@NourS,
Wow, that's embarrassing for you.
Update 5:@Abzman,
I'm a psychic? You just said with Ronaldo has another 5 years at the top level guaranteed!!
How are you sure of that? Neymar a gamble? Not really. Spending €200m on Ronaldo right now
would be a massive gamble though.
You don't know anything about football. That's clear to everyone here.

I'd take 200m in a heartbeat
Based on his footballing ability he's probably worth 100 to 110 Million. Manchester United sold him for 90 million, and he's definitely improved his game all around since then. He averages a goal a game now for Real Madrid, which is pretty insane.
What also makes Cristiano Ronaldo so expensive is that he's very marketable and that is also a boost for any team that has him. It doesn't matter where Cristiano is, people will still pay to see him. And his performance won't change either. If he can consistently do it in the Premier League and La lIga, he'd definitely score atleast 35 goals domestically in the French or Russian leagues.
Man City was willing to pay it but Madrid refused. The thing is this,if Madrid sold him for 200 million that would be a one time thing. However,by keeping him they make more money in the longer run.In business,it's all about long term securities.Besides, twice has he said it on his Facebook that he won't leave. The first time was last week and the second time was this morning.Cristiano won't leave Madrid in the near future.Florentino doesn't want that neither does he.Some teams don't fall for money like Malaga or AC Milan. Some teams know that in the long run their profits will be more.Teams like Barcelona would never sell Messi even for 250 million for the same reason as Madrid. Those are called smart teams.
He would never ever ever go to PSG or Makhachkala unless he was looking for a place to retire. The only team good enough to take him in, that has money to take him would be Man City. It seems unlikely since he used to play for Man Utd but Man City are sure to get some big trophies in the coming years.
That's a good deal of money.
Least we wont have to worry about FFP for a good few years lol.
Any player should be transferable for that price.
@ Nasty Nas - CR7 Would score well over 50 goals a year playing for Anzhi or PSG and might even make them okay in Europe. On top of that his huge public image would put the team and its league closer to the public eye, they might even get a TV deal in a more relevant market. Therefore CR7 is worth over 100 million to them. However, you are a backward uneducated welfare leech who wants to be the next 50 cent so I didn't expect you to know that.
"That's well over double his actual value." - and wtf do you know about his value huh? Nothing.
I suggest you get on track with your life and stop coming to this section to either post bogus questions or show how much of a Messi-dick lover you are.
@Nasty Nas: So you're honestly comparing Neymar to Ronaldo in terms of marketability?? LMFAO. And LOL, are you honestly questioning my motives behind supporting Madrid when you claim to support Manchester United aswell as Barcelona?!! From the day you wrote that onwards your posts WERE and WILL always be rendered comical and invalid lol. You'r opinions are as valuable as a bucket of mud.
@Nasty Nas: Ronaldo is the much better buy because he'll guarantee success as he's already well established. At 27, you could get a good 5-6 years of GUARANTEED World Class football out of him unlike Neymar who could be the next Robinho for all we know. The fact that he hasn't even played at the highest level in Europe yet is EXACTLY why such vasts amount of money shouldn't be blown on him.
Plus, you keep making yourself look like a BIGGER idiot than you already are. "what's wrong with supporting Man Utd & Barcelona ?" - Can you hear yourself??? Absolute glory hunter.
Soo...Nasty...did you switch sides last year in the Champions league final between halves?? GTFO.
P.S. there's no questioning why I support Real Madrid. That was just a CHEAP shot as you really couldn't think of anything better to deviate attention for your shameful gloryhunting. How embarrassing.
@Nasty Nas: How do you know you would get 10-12 years out of Neymar?? Are you a psychic. As history has it: most top Brazilian players of the last decade have been finished before the age of 28. So who says Neymar will give 12 years worth?? I'm not saying he won't but at least with Ronaldo, you know your success is guaranteed whilst Neymar is a gamble.
"You try to act knowledgeable but everyone here knows you have no credibility." - Are you for real mate?? That is the most ironic comment I've read in a long time. You DO realise that you just made a perfect description of yourself? Your not only the most LAUGHED at person on here but also the most detestable. You continually depict you have NO true knowledge of the game which is why you should stick to the rap section as football CLEARLY isn't for you.

@Nasty Nas: "You don't know anything about football. That's clear to everyone here." Last time I checked, you were the ignorant glory-hunter who was known as the fool and laughing stock of the Spanish football section. Mate, you honestly don't know how much of an idiot people on here consider you to be. You support UNITED and BARCA for God's sake. Your opinion is as valuable as a pile of cr@p! I've never ONCE seen you give a knowledgeable or insightful answer to ANY question neither have you ever posted an intelligible question. All you ever come here to do is post bogus that no-one wants to hear. Plus, if your such a big "man u fan," why are you never in the English football section?? You only come here in an attempt to mock real madrid fans but always fail. I'm pretty sure even I know more about United's history than you do lol.
P.S. This is the last time I'll be replying as I can't stand to read your blah blah blah nightmare..
Mate who the fcuk supports two of the biggest clubs in the world. You should really support one club team and stick to it because then you would have two teams to support in competitions like the CL and if UTD are knocked out it's okay because you still have Barcelona to support. Hooray!!!! WTF I can say I'm going to support Madrid and Barcelona because they bring top talent through youths
That's not possible maybe he can get 120 million euro if he goes to Manchester city
He could also be sold for 7 euros. Doesn't mean he will be.
If I wanted to read made up news from goal i'd go on there.
gtfo of this section
I heard he nught be going into barcelona fc?
That is a lot of bread.
