Are there any laws about church goers preaching at an apartment complex? I’m just curious if it’s legal since it’s where people live and not some open public place. It’s become a regular Sunday evening thing and it’s right next to my apartment building which is gated. They are loud and clear(mic) about their message. I’m not even sure why they do it when there is a church right across the street.

There is no law against preaching but that must be done in a manner that does not disturb the peace of others. Call the police and complain about the excessive noise. If these gatherings are large there may be other ordinance or zoning violations.
If they're doing it on complex property, then they've probably received permission from the management. Have you asked the manager about it?
There are no laws specifically about churchgoers and apartment complexes. Depending on details you haven’t given us, laws on trespassing, noise, amplified sound, and so on may apply.
On private property, if told to stop by the property owner, it is trespassing. Other than that, it IS NOT illegal.
If they are on private property the owner can call the Police and have them removed.
Otherwise, it depends on what type of disturbance -
Are they on private property? If so, the owner of that property has a right to tell them to move on. If you rent from him, complain to him.
