Three years ago this month I a bought a used car from a dealership that mostly sells new cars. Tonight they called tonight looking to buy my car. My car is nothing special, a 2002 Vitara. Why would they do this?

Because they want to sell you another more expensive at with higher monthly payments.
A lot of the new vehicles now that they sell will try and entice its customers (usually after 2 years) to trade up for a new vehicle and that will continue the car owner to keep paying monthly. It's sort of replaces the leasing that many dealers are trying to eliminate. In your situation they just have you on file and are trying to sell you a new vehicle like everyone else that bought from that dealer. Yes, believe it or not, your vehicle is not that special and you were not the only one they want to buy a car from. It's your decision whether its time to upgrade or not.
They want u to buy another car and ur car must b in good condition if they want it back. U should keep it n enjoy it. Btw just ti make sure look around and c if there something special under the seat or something like the other person said they might b gold under the seat lol
They probably want to also convince you to buy a new car.
its more like a trade in, you trade the car in so you can purchase another car from them.
sounds like a sales promotion thing to get you in there buy something else.
theres gold hidden inside the seats
