If you are not happy with the world as it is change the way you look at it. The root of all problems of the self is too much wanting and not enough acceptance. This world is so well orchestrated that every thing has a purpose in its self and as a part of something bigger. Personally I can't always see it but I have lived long enough to know its true.
In the world that you are asking this question, it is necessary that only this possibility exist.
The argument that would have to be made to suppose "a better (best) possible world" is that what doesn't exist can be better than what actually needs to exist.
It can always be imagined a possible world that is thought of as being better. But it can only "be thought of" as being better, and never actually "be" better, because it never actually "is"; it doesn't exist.

No world is perfect. But maybe in that determination to make it perfect we will find ourselves in that world we were seeking to begin with.
