I would prefer to deny someone I don't know an abortion. I provide my family catastrophic medical coverage as well as regular medical coverage. It does cost me money of course.
I feel it is wrong for the government to use my tax dollars to perform abortions!
As for 'catastrophic medical coverage' if an emergency, it would be handled in a Hospital Emergency Room, if an illness, w/o ins., the family would whatever it takes to get appropriate treatment.
If referring to the 'Government health care bill, I see the ugly and sinister trappings of 'Government sanctioned population control'!
This is merely one of the many abominations contained in that secretive legislation!
Abortion is a non issue. Repubs. love to talk about non issues. RU486 makes abortion a non issue. Repubs. are investing in that drug now. The RU486 will get to teens easy on the black market.
Neither. I have no problem with early abortions. Late term abortions would have to have serious justification - not just be performed because being pregnant isn't convenient.

I'd rather deny someone I don't know an abortion, than a family member medical care.

"catastrophic medical coverage?"
What is more catastrophic then abortion?
The people in my middle class family have jobs and insurance.
The abortion to an unknown, of course!
There is no good reason to deny either.
