I would be in favor of using the PA for the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem instead. 

I've never been a big fan of mixing prayer and public education. Even if it was prayers from my preferred religious leaning. 

We can all pray at home if we desire, or not pray if we don't. 

Private institutions are a different matter. 

I would hope that neither Liberals or Conservatives would support such a principal Who ignored the Constitution.

They  should.    They   support   prayer in  school.   

Many of them   want  God  put  back into  schools.

I'd hope there are no American's that would support that! bring back the Pledge of Allegiance so our young people get a sense of being a US citizen to be proud again.
