Sure. Why not. That's still the truth, unfortunately -- at least in part.
I'm an old white guy, and I do think the USA in many ways is much less racist than when I was in my 20s. But it's still obvious to me that USA is still racist now -- at least partly And that this will continue no matter who wins in 2012..
Anybody can see the proof of this, if you bother to look.
Just pay some attention, for example, to the constant flood of racist Qs and As that some people -- Tall Man, Sophie, Gertrude Gass, etc. -- keep posting here in YA Politics.
It's hard to tell how representative these YA Politics racists are of the larger US population. Maybe they only speak for a tiny minority. But obviously there's enough racism in American society today -- with Obama still in office -- to make white racist commentary a fairly constant element of our internet experience here.
That will probably continue no matter who wins the presidency in 2012. Why wouldn't it?
I do hope that gradually, most US racism will disappear as most Americans come to grips with the need to make our multi-racial society successful. But the problem is obviously not going to vanish soon, and it's obviously still present today.
However, it is nice to see that many Americans of all races are apparently dedicated to fighting against it -- or simply transcending it, ignoring it, and forging a more tolerant society despite the haters who continue to live among us.
Your country has a good reputation because it twice voted in Bush which was admirable because most countries don't even allow the mentally challenged to even vote let alone run for the presidency.

I believe Obama will win, but I do not believe people will think USA is racist if Obama loses.
People may think USA is racist for other reasons, maybe rumours they have heard, maybe experiences they have had.
Small parts of the US is racist, but I think it has cleared up a lot in the last 50-100 years.
People have been claiming that since 2008 just because he didnt get 100% of the vote.

No, but people will continue to claim the GOP is a stupid party after Obama wins.
Yes. But mostly because he was not treated fairly by the people. It is my prayer. He will not lose.
No. He's already been president. He's made history, and no one can change that.
don't have to worry he won't look at the GOP has only rubbish
They already do so you loose nothing by voting him out.
