Angelfish live alone just fine, and is actually more likely to respond to you if there are no other angelfish in the tank. Safer than putting 2 random Angels together anyway. If the 2 don't get along, they will fight. Keep them alone, in a bonded pair, or in a group of 6 or more (big tank)

The trick to getting them tame is to hand feed them fresh food, like bloowdorms etc. Something that they REALLY like. You dangle the food in the water so they can see it in your fingers before letting it go. Eventually they associate your hand with food, and come and investigate each time they see it, and will even take food from your fingers. It takes some time, but the fish can live for 8 or more years, so spending 6 months training it is nothing.

Watch the tetras don't nip the fins of the Angel. It may be better to choose another less nippy species, although nothing really small that the angel may eat. Cardinal Tetras are a good choice.

You will want at least a 29gal (tall) tank for an adult angel, although that can house some tetras or similar as well.

Hands in the water have no real effect on the water, any more than you swimming in a lake messes up the water there. Just make sure you hands are CLEAN, but no soap, and give them a quick wash after as well. An aquarium is NOT a sterile environment.

It is better to have two or three of them. They probably would be lonely with only one. You can put your finger in the tank and it won't hurt them as long as you haven't been handling unusual things and your hands are rinsed off. Yes, they will follow your fingers, your body, and anything that makes them think they are going to be fed. They are beggars, but so cute! Change about 10% of your water on a weekly basis so your water stays at proper levels. Do not add fish to your tank until it has been set up for 3 weeks or so, or if you have used at least 50% water from another fish tank.

Tetras are fine with Angels, but not sure if the X-Ray Tetra is a little delicate as a tank mate.

it's not difficult, any fish will act like that. As long as you don't overfeed, the fish will always be excited to see you.

I use a turkey baster to feed bloodwormas/brineshrimp and the fish figure that out in a day or so .
