For this that you've mentioned you need the first one. But the second one is much better
Buy a desktop if u want to use it for games.. My dad has an 2500 E IMB thinkpad and it takes ages for games like CS:S to load.. while on my desktop it takes like 15-7 s to load a bot game.. and my desktop only costs like 1500 E.
