Is it because he lost the first debate?
Is it because Biden lost his debate by default?
Is it because there are no jobs and people are waking up to the fact that things are worse now than four years ago?

i think more are realizing he is a socialist/communist who wants to destroy america and they want to kick his butt out of office.
Actually, Obama is beginning to come back in the polls after the first debate.
Both Obama and Biden are widely accepted as having won their debates on facts. Biden is widely considered to have won his debate on style (clearly Romney won his debate on style).
The fact that jobs reports are picking up and the housing industry is picking up is not lost on the electorate, despite Fox News saying that the numbers are not real.
Brand New Nationwide Poll: Obama 47%, Romney 44%
The President continues to poll solidly among Democrats (88%-7%), Hispanics (62%-30%), African Americans (95%-1%), women (51%40%), Catholics (53%-42%), liberals (91%-5%), and moderates (56%-29%).
Mr. Romney is doing very well among Republicans (86%-9%), voters over 65 (58%-35%), men (49%-43%), evangelicals (62%-28%), married voters (50%-40%), conservatives (77%-18%), and investors (56%-39%).
For his part, Mr. Romney needs to be concerned about his lead among white voters. He does lead 53% to 37%, but Senator John McCain got 57% of the white vote and lost in 2008. In that election, whites represented 74% of the total vote, a share that could be reduced by a few points this November. He is also still not connecting with NASCAR fans as the President still leads the former Governor by five points, 48%-44%.

A combination between the debate and benghazi have done severe damage to his campaign.
Not to mention history isn't on his side, and he now has to lay claim for responsibility of an international terror attack resulting in 4 dead Americans.
And don't give me that crap about GOP funding cuts, the Ambassador in Paris France one of the safest cities in the world had security.
All of the most accurate polls of 2008, and yes contrary to Liberal "malarky" the Rassmussen is a highly reputable poll have Romney taking a lead which is growing.
The polling prestige right here in terms of accuracy. And is it any surprise CBS is dead last?

Obama lost his first debate. I'll give you that.
Biden verbally inserted his penis deep into the esophagus of Ryan in the second debate.
The unemployment rate is 7.8% last time I checked.
The reason that Romney is catching Obama is because undecided voters are unbearably stupid. If you watch CNN you can watch them agree with both candidates on everything they say. They're stupid.
Yes, partially.
No, Biden actually won the debate. He just came off as "rude" but I found it hilarious.
Partially, Romney will make it just as bad. Guess they need another wake up call.
Answer 3. America is waking up.
We tried socialism and it didn't work. Now we can go back to way America was founded.
It isn't about the debates or the polls, it's about our COUNTRY.
Obama can change his style and tactics but he can't change his record and he can't change his policies, and THAT is what this election is about.
E. All of the above AND the POP MEDIA is pushing this sentiment. You see, "D" was "all of the above".
I think more people are realizing he is a reptilian...
