Many "fear a god" and many kill in the name of those gods so no the "gods" do not contribute to peace in any way.
YES THAT IS PART OF THE PROBLEM, BUT MORE THAN THAT WE NEED THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HAVE PEACE PREVAIL ON THE EARTH.
Do you know what Fearof God is?
It isn't.............
Fear of God is not necessary. Fear keeps people from understanding God and seeing him.
Strange that you don't know?
Because God's laws say not to kill, and to love one's neighbor!

Deuteronomy 4:24 KJV — For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire.
