You mean responding to an actual threat is worse than making one up to scare people like conservatives do?
- Over 90.000 dead, more hospitalized and still spreading
Versus -
No widespread voter fraud yet your masters have you up in arms about it.
- Requesting "unmasking" in reports is in no way nefarious but it sounds bad to those who don't bother to understand what it means. Now it appears Flynn's name was never masked to begin with. Still Fox News and others have whipped conservatives into a frenzy about it.
PS - A request to unmask is to learn the identity of someone in a report listed as something like "US Citizen 1" if the person reading the report needs to know for better understanding of the situation described. You don't request a person by name to be unmasked. No one ever requested that "Michael Flynn" be unmasked because that would not make sense.
The operative word in your misguided question is "crisis," Mike. If you refer to the current worldwide very deadly COVID-19 pandemic, it has been the people-protecting Democrats and quite a few moderate Republican Governors frustrated by the lack of a coherent response from the Trump-occupied White House who have informed the American people how to take action in ways that will prevent the spread or that will save people's lives if they do become ill.
If people choose to react in fear instead of being proactive and part of solution efforts, that's those people's choice---a choice that has nothing whatsoever to do with the truths being told that teach our citizenry how to handle the crisis.

That doesn't happen, whenever there's a crisis, Trump lies, then lies about lying, then, blames someone else, it's the Republican way...
