Why aren’t a majority of black women supportive of their male companions?
And before I get a bunch of angry responses, please do know that I also recognize that a small population of sisters out there do in fact support their men. Thank You.
I don't think it's a majority, because most of the Black women I know do support their men financially, emotional, and sexually. But I have known Black women who don't. When they didn't it was because:
1. They weren't worth supporting; cheaters, liars.
2. Some men actually WON'T accept the support, except for money.
3. The women are immature and DO NOT know how to treat other people, much less their man.
4. Not to be racist, but I have seen it, some women and men will look at that type of behavior as "acting white". The reason being is that all they have ever seen is white people acting this way, so if a black person does, they are trying to be white.
becuz a sistah is known for tellin it straight or sayin what needs to be said, not what the person wants to hear. she wants you to succeed but she recognizes when its time to move on to something else. i think it is support but it comes off as not being supportive. i think most men resent a woman for tellin them to give up something even when they know they should so they look at the woman as unsupportive

Maybe black men don't treat them right...hmmm?
What research have you done and for how long?
Because they ignore their women.
