Who is going to pay for this change? Change we Americans need, a 1960's civil rights backlash, and more economic depression we don’t. Political experience plays a major role in how to cross party lines to complete a bi-partisan bill for the greater good of mankind. (Certainly not gay marriage) Most would agree that Lincoln and Kennedy served during conflict, had great civil rights motives, and started with very little experience, but have you forgotten how their presidencies ended? We cannot reduce our US election process down to just skin color, buying votes, and a platform of change. Something once again Lincoln and Kennedy ran on. Besides change what, if anything American people are the ones who need to do the changing, primarily in their spending habits with emphasis on credit cards. This is how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If you can’t afford it using cash don’t bring it home, that’s how each of us can best help the country.

The plans of Obama have a high likelihood of bankrupting America. A National Health care plan will be far to expensive, unless it happens at the expense of the people by lowering their standard of living. There simply is not enough money in this country to affect such a plan, and to maintain our way of life.
So far as the rich getting richer is concerned, they invest their money with an intent to gain even more. What, pray tell, is wrong with that? There is a good chance that the company that many who also read this have stock certificates issued to those willing to buy them. This gives the investor a chance to make money, and for the company to have money with which to operate, and keep their business in operation. Anyone foolish enough to believe that a company only gets their operating money from the profit on what goods or services that the company sells is sorely lacking in knowledge of even basic economics. The poor get poorer because they are foolish in how they spend their money. It is, their fault, and not the fault of the "filthy rich" that they use as a scape goat. The company that these people might work for, probably sells stock as just mentioned. Without those mean ,horrible, and despicable rich people making money off of their efforts to have a job and eek out some measure of a living, investing in their company to begin with, then they may not have a job to begin with. Listen people, investors make it possible for many companies to exist to begin with. Without investors, then many jobs would simply not exist to begin with. Which do you want, no investors making money off of your company profits, and maybe your not having a job, or to have a job, and those investors make some kind of profit off of their investment. You see, this is a point that Obama failed to make clear. The rich he wants to burden with taxes, are the very ones who play a major role in keeping various companies operating. So, your choice, bite the hand that might be feeding you, or protect it.
Yes, it is a nice rant.
