John 14:2,3- King James Version.
2.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
** Those words were spoken by Jesus to his disciples.. not everyone in general, so by whose authority do religious leaders and individual come to the conclusion that it means them?
Update:Fireball: There is no verse that says " all the saved will go to heaven".. None.
Scooter: You attempting to answer a question with a question. That's like saying some did cling to the side of the Ark and made it for a couple days until their muscles gave in.

Let's let Jesus answer that; (Luke 23:34) 34 [[But Jesus was saying: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”]] . . .
EDIT: "Ursus Particularies" sure used some big words. Does anyone know how to translate that into basic English?
Conundrum, who was Jesus talking to here? It says Whosoever. That applies to whosoever. Jesus was talking to a crowd here in Matthew 5.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven."
So there will be least and great in the Kingdom of Heaven and whosoever is anybody !
Also:
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in HEAVEN, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
So whoever has been persecuted because of Jesus will have a great reward in Heaven! Now I realize it says that the meek shall inherit the earth. But there is going to be a New Heaven and a New Earth -- and why wouldn't you think the two will be together? Scriptures says that the New Jerusalem will come out of heaven down to earth Look at these two scriptures:
Revelation 19:1 - "After these things I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven"
Revelation 7:9 - "look! a great crowd ... standing before the throne"
"And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become ONE FLOCK, ONE SHEPHERD." - John 10:16
Revelation 7:9-17 After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb..
Hell no! particularly, it particularly is a criminal offense! Any non secular team who claims a tax exempt status is via regulation barred from doing any variety of campaigning in, on around their "church". And telling their individuals that to vote for somebody could be a sin is CAMPAIGNING for the different candidate!! i'm surprised some warm shot regulation student hasn't theory to start a lawsuit to do away with ALL church homes tax unfastened status. think of all that money coming lower back into the U. S. government coffers...why, we'd desire to have public faculties that would furnish books and an astonishing education too.
These words were spoken by Jesus to His Disciples. Well what do you think a Born again Christian is?
God Bless Ya,

There is more joy in Jesus in one day.
Than there is in the World 365/24/7
I know, I tried them both.
Numbers 6:24-26
Could it be that perhaps some of the clergy actually believe it does apply to them and a lot of others, as well?
I wholeheartedly agree that it did not include all mankind who believes they are saved, though.
Can you tell me (or any one else) what Ursus was trying to say...Wow might as well be in a foreign language!
We move to successively more upper places gradually in many cases involving the good and faithful.
Paradise attainment is an Apex Achievement for the mortal ascendants going for Maximum Finite Perfection. But more is available after that.
All the saved will go to a heaven as qualified by their status, NOT the highest heaven. Different levels of lowest heaven to continue their further learning.
Some stop at one of the initial two major levels* eventually, but others more diligent can continue all the way.
Many levels of the heavens are revealed to the diligent, even during this life. But almost everyone knows there is Paradise, highest level of all. NO ONE goes directly from earth to Paradise, else Christ would have said "There is only one mansion...."
Initial Mansion Worlds (lowest heavenly level) are seven in number. Attaining 4 through 7 would involve translation rather than passing by death as far as I know.
But some who pass on here (death of physical body) can go to Mansion World 2 or 3 owing to advanced status.
All of those resurrected at the end of the age rather than three days after death begin on Mansion World One.
Those resurrected on 3d day have attained to services of a Seraphic Guardian Angel. Quite an accomplishment for most earthlings nowadays.
But distant future ages will see such perfections that most are translated and may even skip the initial mansion worlds altogether, though they often go back there to teach for a period before continuing towards Paradise. Only the Perfect or Perfected enter Paradise, else it would not be Infinitely Perfect. That applies to angels low too, but not to High Angels. The latter often are from Paradise. Lower angels must attain Seraphic Corps of Completion to qualify as Paradise Resident, an Eternal Attainment no matter where one may engage in subsequent work. So, our plan of perfection is somewhat similar, albeit we start lower.
*And some former mortals stopped at a lower main level work there diligently enough to attain the next higher main level. Three main levels are local universe, superuniverse, eternal central heaven and Paradise. Looks like four, but all who attain the eternal central heaven attain Paradise too eventually.
Even a lower heaven is glorious though.
Saved mostly refers to gaining an eternal life, not related to the levels possible ultimately for that achievement.
All of this is not achieved solely by earth life -- there are many subsequent possible grades (spheres) in all cases of the saved. Betterment is not limited to here.
Paradise is not a sphere like places in time and space.
The unsaved perish. But fear not, mercy is never exhausted for all who are making progress.
Like planets have various epochs and 'Ages' so also does the entire Cosmos. A Cosmic Age has vastly far more time than a planetary age. Things change and there could be further opportunity for beings stopped at local or superuniverse service level, but I have no details that far down the road. Nevertheless I am sure there is further opportunity for virtually all beings at such times, and many changes wrought by God too -- for beings and currently actualized realities both.
yes
Where does it say that it does NOT apply to someone?
