Will she use the proximity to Afghanistan as part of her foreign policy credential now?
SAN FRANCISCO - Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin called Afghanistan “our neighboring country” on Sunday in a speech that could revive questions over her tendency to stumble into linguistic knots.

geography isn't her strong suit just as the economy isn't McCain's.
focus on their strong points, Moose gutting and pointless rambling stories.
The black church has, historically, been a center of the community and not just a place of worship. It's where the civil rights movement was planned and perpetuated, it was a place of meeting and planning during slave times, it was the one place where blacks could speak freely without fear. White churches have, historically (up until about 30-40 years ago), preached segregation many perpetuated a belief that blacks carry the mark of Cain and are, therefore, wicked at birth and born to serve the white man(protestant churches and the Mormons anyway - don't know about the Catholics). Not really conducive to "making a joyful noise" together. At this point, it's just habitual. It's changing rapidly but these things take time. Jim Crow isn't ancient history, my father used to tell me stories about how things were for him being one of the first black kids in his SC middle school and I'm still in my twenties.
Apparently she could see Afghanistan from her podium in San Francisco.
Jezus H. Katz! I thought the GOP was keeping a lid on that foolish broad!
She thinks she can see Afghanistan from Alaska.
